Constructed Reality: Second Semester

The Mug Shot picture is very serious. I used contrast and emphasis to really bring out the emotion in his face. He isn't sad but he is upset that he got caught.
This picture I used different values and it looks great with Jen's bright pink hoodie. Here, they are being sneaky and mysterious getting the drugs.

This picture is of someone catching them in the act. Busted.
The Story: A drug dealer who has been wanted for a long time gets caught selling drugs to a minor. The first picture is his mugshot. DUN DUN.

Constructed Identity Prompts

1.) I construct my identity by being myself and doing what I love. I "perform" in my life by doing simple tasks such as going to school and getting ready for college; making something out of my life. The way the people in the video "constructed" was by them taking every day life things and turning them into something meaningful.
2.) My personal culture and social environments are "constructed" by the people I surround myself with like my family and friends.
3.) My physical/environment space is "constructed" by living within your world. Exploring your environment and what's around you in every day life.
4.) I feel like everything realistic in my life would be "real" and the thing that would be "fabricated" would be movies and songs; things that didn't come from you yourself.
5.) It would be fun to portray/reenact a play from back in the day.
6.) One thing I would love to do in my project is to reenact the Black Swan. I could get props and do my makeup and dress just like her.

Portraits: Quarter 3

This picture is of my brother. I used a lot of saturation to really enhance his jersy because it's such a strong shade of red. I edited out my garage door to make it look like a white back drop.
This picture is of me. I edited it to make the colors of my eye pop and the black and white on the rest of the picture really enhances that.
This picture is of Marcellus which I took at Rangeview High School with a back drop. I edited out all of the creases to make the background look smooth. I wanted the center of this picture to be his tattoos since they are so elaborate and big.
